Been gone so long

Congratulations, I'm so happy she will be coming home to you and is doing so well.

I'm so happy you will be bringing Arianna home soon. It's so amazing and miraculous all that you have been through. With this pregnancy I've been on bedrest since week 17. Now that I'm in my 32nd week I just feel so amazed that I will be holding my rainbow in less than 8 weeks. I was admitted to the hospital at 17 weeks and was showing signs of an incompetent cervix. My MFM saw me the next morning and less than 2 hours later I was in surgery getting a cerclage. I had many, many extra visits with my OB and MFM but things look good. My little Thumper is healthy and keeping up with measurements. I'm so happy how well Arianna is doing:) It's so amazing how tiny she once was...13 oz is how much Alicia weighed when she was born. You are so right about your outlook on life changing after going through a stillbirth and dealing with complications. I find that I stop and enjoy each day. I love that I am on bedrest and that I can focus on taking care of myself and little Thumper. I remember says with this pregnancy being so scared after the surgery that I could only manage to think one or two minutes ahead. I've never dealt with NICU so I can only imagine what that must have been like for you. I'm so glad you posted...I have been thinking about you and Arianna and it's wonderful to hear how great things are going .
