Hey ladies, I know I have been missing but nursing school is so crazy with 2 children! I have attached some pictures of my sweet baby and some of Makayla also. TJ has gotten so big he is now 14 lbs and smiling up a storm these days. He has adjusted to sleeping pretty good only up 1-2 times a night which is awesome for us, Makayla used to wake up 6-7 times a night. We took them to the little Halloween thing at the zoo this weekend and I was so happy to have my 2 children. I can remember going last year with just makayla and miss Treyon like crazy. I hope all of you and your sweet children are doing good. Attach a picture if you get a chance so I can see those sweet babies!

Crystal, you have SUCH beautiful babies! I just love them! The costumes are adorable. I was thinking about dressing Sadie up as Dorothy with Noah as the tin man, Dh as the lion and me as the scarecrow (and of course the dog as Toto) but she had other ideas!

Well, Noah is now 3 months old (15 weeks on Wednesday) and he weighed (last Monday) 14lbs 9oz and is 24" long. He's a dream come true. He has a really pleasant demeanor and only cries when he's hungry or overtired. He's so sweet and happy and he never fails to make me smile. I just adore him.

He has a follow-up appointment on Friday with the cardiologist who did his procedure last week so we have our fingers crossed that everything looks good and we're hoping that he won't have to have another procedure for awhile! I'm actually afraid to make any plans past that date for fear that he'll have to have another procedure... I'm really hoping for some peace of mind. My poor little guy :(

Aside from that... we have an exciting week ahead with DD's 7th birthday on Tuesday and Halloween this weekend. I just finished making her costume and can't wait for her to try it on so I can take some pictures! I'm SO PROUD of it! This is the first Halloween costume I've made for her. My mom always makes them so this is a pretty BIG deal!

Jen, the kids are so beautiful. I am so glad to hear that your baby is doing well and adjusting into the family. I found that TJ just fit right in to our family also too. Except I had to get used to doing baby things again, like bringing baby car seat, and diaper back and all that. I had kind of outgrown the diaper bag and stuff but it is okay he is so worth it.

Aww she is so precious, wow 12-13 hours. I am so envious! My baby is truly a horrible sleeper compared to everyone elses babies..Is this my fault? Should I have put him on a better schedule. I have no idea bout the breastfeeding and AF but I just want to commend you on having another baby so soon. TJ has wore me out! Good luck girl! I am so glad to here from you.

Renee- Maisley is beautiful! Glad to hear she's doing so well and sleeping good for you. Elliott started sleeping though the night at 6wks so I know it can happen and it's wonderful when it does!

As for when AF comes back it will just depend on your body. I got AF back with all the kids between 7-10 wks PP :( It kinda sucked because you always here of people going a year before getting it. Not me! But I've heard of some people taking almost 2 yrs to get it back. It's all up to your body. You can also ovulate before you ever get your AF back. I've seen plenty of women come in and find themselves pregnant and not know because they never got AF since the last baby. There really isn't anything you can do to make it come though other than stopping BFing and that's not a guarantee when it will come back, sometimes a month or 2 sometimes a year! Do you do natural family planning at all? You can learn to check your cervix and you can determine if you are ovulating. It takes a bit to learn, but that along with my mucus (i use to do temp too, don't anymore) I can tell when I'm ready to ovulate.

Good luck with #3!

Renee,
I'm a planner too so I understand where you're coming from! I'm planning for #4 when Noah is about 11 months to a year but I have yet to get DH on board! LOL
I know a lot of people get AF back before they wean, especially when the baby starts eating solids and BFing decreases. I hope that's the case for you :)
Wishing you loads of success with TTC!
Hugs, Sandra

I thought of something when you said that it is taking the dairy so long to get out of your system.
