Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadian mommies!
Baby Dylan - still
Maisley looks sooooo cute! She will just have to put up with Mom being a little embarrassing. I am sure some day she will do the same thing to her own children.
Life has been very busy here. Cicely is growing like a weed. She is still not sleeping well at night and we have tried just about everything. I am soooo tired. Last night DH sat up with her for a few hours so that I could sleep. I 'm feeling a little better today. I am so frustrated though because I have no energy to do anything and when I am tired I eat. I haven't gained any weight, thank God, but I haven't lost any either. I still feel 6 months pregnant:smileysad:.
I wanted to post some new pictures, but we just got a new computer and DH hasn't updated everything yet...maybe next week.
I hope everyone else is doing well.
Renee, I had to laugh when I read your post because I took Noah to a local pumpkin patch yesterday and did the exact same thing you did! I attached pics below. Poor kid!
Like you, I think back to last year having just lost my baby... I had just been given the go-ahead to try again at this point. For me Halloween is a big deal. I think it's because it was the first "kid holiday" without Zach. I had already picked out his costume and was looking forward to handing out candy in our new house with our little guy... It was so hard! This year I think I ma be going a little overboard with Noah... he has three costumes and a sleeper!!! I can't help myself! I'm just so happy to have him and to be able to do these things with him. I'm so thankful!
So, as for Thanksgiving, we had dinner at my grand-mother's last night with my family and tonight we'll be celebrating SIL's birthday at DH's parent's house. Tomorrow we'll take it easy! Next weekend is an exciting weekend for us, Noah is getting baptised!!! We're not super a religious family but I feel that baptism is important so that should be fun... I guess I have a lot of prep work to do this week! I find that everything now takes 3 times as long as it did before we had a(nother) baby. Like dishes, cleaning, getting out the door... But I wouldn't change it for anything!
Happy Thanksgiving ladies! I'll post a couple of pics of Noah in the pumpkin patch!
Great to hear updates from you both!
Hey Sandra, I wouldn't be too worried about how much Noah sleeps - Maisley is a real sleepy-head, too.
