I'm Jeska. I have a son who's almost 9, my rainbow DD who is 3.5 and DS who is 6 weeks old.

Our monoamniotic monochorionic identical twin girls were born still 8/29/04 due to umbilical cord entanglement. I joined the Stillbirth board the very next day. I was CL for the TTC after Stillbirth board for a couple years as we TTC'd for a full 24 months with 1 m/c and 7 rounds of clomid to get pg with our DD. I've been here and on PAS/IL for the last 4 years.

I'm a homeschooling mom with a lot of hobbies, mainly homemaking and photography now, and I volunteer a lot. DH is a carpenter and we run our own business. We typically live in a camper and travel while finding work. We are in a house right now because of the baby being born and hope to get back on the road in a few months. We'll be going to MO, CO, UT and WY. My blog is jeskav79 dot blogspot dot com

Hi ladies,

My name is Nicole and I am on this board because of my baby Charlotte, who passed away in utero 3 days before my due date due to a massive fetal maternal hemmorhage......but I had no bleeding and thought I was in labour, so we didn't know anything was wrong. 341 ml of her blood went into my bloodstream, and she passed away peacefully after falling into a deep sleep. I am strangely comforted by the thought that an angel visited me in my sleep and carried my sweet baby to heaven. I know she was gone when I woke up that morning, but did not realize it at the time. I just couldn't get her to move no matter how hard I poked at my belly. I found out at an ultrasound that afternoon. She was born the next day, and would have been 9lbs if not for the bleed. She was gorgeous, the prettiest baby I have ever seen. So that, forgive the long story, is why I am here and have joined this "club".

Before Charlotte, my firstborn was William, who is now 5. He is wonderful, funny, and full of energy. A smart cookie. Our rainbow baby, baby #3, is Abigail. She is sweetness personified. Truly. A dream come true and has brought such healing with her. My husband and I still hurt whenever we think that we have 3 babies but one is missing, and we want BOTH of our girls here. But that cannot be and as other moms have said on this board, without your angel baby your rainbow baby wouldn't be here. So I take what comes and accept life as it is, full of thankfulness for my two healthy kids on earth and my sweet Charlotte in heaven. She gives me something to look forward to. I always was a little afraid to die, and not really looking forward to heaven (thought it was for old people!), but her passing has changed all that. I can't wait to get there to see her again.

I am thankful that I get to be home and enjoy my kids at the moment. It is truly priceless. I can't believe the Abby is 6 months already, eating solid food and wolfing it down! She is happy all the time and sleeps the night. Sleep training ROCKS! She has an amazing disposition and just started to giggle this week. That real baby laugh, ah, there is no better sound. And she is very pudgy. William squeezes her "muscles" and says, "Oooh, Abby, you're strong!" And I say, "No honey, that's just pure pudge." And we laugh. She has 3 rolls on her left leg, and only 2 on her right!!! And that roll of fat around her wrists? Oh, so adorable. It doesn't get better than that.
