Well, we are about to hit the 6 month mark on exclusively breastfeeding!!! 3 weeks to go! My goal has always been 6 months, and it has gone really well. I am exhausted though due to Margaux waking up at 2am and then 6am for feedings. (I know, that's not too bad, but still - I'm so tired from it). So, I "think" I am going to add in a couple of formula feedings after she hits 6 months. I am not sure when they will be -- definitely if she wakes up at 2am I will. But, I still want to breastfeed as well. If I do this - will my milk supply dry up? Do I need to keep pumping as well?
I am not really sure how I want to do both either. Breastfeed most of the time but give formula if we are out and about, or for her last feeding at night so DH can do it, or in the AM and then the day feedings be breasfed. I am just not sure, so I thought I would ask.
Also, do most of you add milk, formula, or water to your rice cereal? I have ice cubes of breast milk, but when I run out of those, should I use formula or water?
