tomorrow is my birthday ! i love to celebrate birthdays and so my DH has taken off work thursday and friday. May sound dumb but my favorite place to go is an amusement park called kennywood thats what were doing and baby is staying with my mom during the day. I called the park to see if they have a place to pump they do i can either pump in kiddie land infant care room or in the first aid office. Heres the thing the first aid office wont allow me to use their fridge to store the milk. Its supposed to be 90 degrees and sunny here tomorrow. Im nervous about just using

Geez, that is a good question. Have you tried googling it or calling a lactation consultant as they might know how long milk can stay just on ice. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.

Enjoy your day with your DH. It sounds like a lot of fun!

Hmmm..that's tough. I am not sure that I would trust that my milk would stay the proper temperature for 12 hrs with an ice pack. You might just have to pump and dump, which for me was painful wasting it, but there were a couple times

I'd go with pump and dump. If it was a shorter time period or not 90 degrees, maybe the ice would do it. As much as it sucks that you can't use their fridge, I kind of understand- they don't want the liability of having something as precious as your milk in there. If multiple moms did it it could easily get mixed up or contaminated somehow. Enjoy your day!
