Getting my bag ready & have a question.....Did anyone bring their breast feeding pillow to the hospital with them???..if you brought it, did you use it, if you didn't, did you wish you had??????

Thanks so much for your thoughts!!!

I never had one, but even if I had one with Fiona I wouldn't have had time to take it with me! lol I found regular pillows did the trick for me, although I am thinking about a boppy this time around.

Did you get the cool hospital list that Reena posts from time to time? I can't believe that you're just 26 days away!

I'd definitely recommend taking the pillow too. I know it took some work with a LC to figure out how to position the baby on the pillow and we had to add some towels or blankets to make it work right when my babies were newborns. That's definitely not something I would have figured out on my own!

I hated hospital pillows with #1. They were plastic, the cases slipped off and if you tried to stack them, they slid off each other. I def recommend taking your
Boppy or other BF pillow plus a normal one for you to sleep with. I slept better with my own pillow from home with #2. If you have a pump, bring that as well. I needed to collect colostrum

I didn't initially have it with me but had DH get it that same night - I used it a bunch! Even just to prop her up at the end of the bed for pictures! I would bring it - or just have DH bring it in from the car after you and the little one get settled in.

Take it! I had my Boppy and it was great--the LC helped me with positioning on it which helped. Plus, it had the added benefit of helping with protecting my belly after the unexpected c-section (no pressure on the scar!). Good luck! You are getting soo close!!
