so weve made it to 11 months, and a few weeks ago i was worried about not having enough to get me here... now DD has starting refusing bottles (bad news for an EPer) and isnt eating as well as she usually does. she usually takes a 6 oz bottle before her 2 naps and a 7 oz bottle before bed, and sometimes 5 oz if she gets up in the middle of the night which is more than half the time. however the past 2 days ive gotten her to maybe take a total of 10 oz for the day i work over the weekends and friday night my DH couldnt get her to take anything and sat-sun my mom only got her to take 1.5 bottles. i thought maybe teeth? i mean really babies are almost always teething right but shell drink a bottle with water or juice in it so i figure if one bottle hurt then all of them would. shes been extremely hard to get to sleep and usually at least the morning nap is like money in the bank. shes still having wet/dirty diapers but not as many and not as wet (im not sure whats normal at this age) one thing that happend is my mom watched DD over night saturday while we attended a wedding i left plenty of milk

I might take her in to the ped. The refusing food and less wet diapers than normal would have me worried about dehydration. Does she have any other signs of sickness (fever, rash, pulling at ears, stuffy nose, cough, etc)? Is she eating solid food ok?

hi caryn... i did call and ended up taking her to the doc. he said she shows no signs of dehydrations and she does have some "viral sores" on her throat so most likely thats it. she did lose more than a pound since her last visit the end of july but he said he wasnt concerned since she started walking days after her 9 month check up. shell drink water and is taking in about half of the solid food as she usually does i was worried as well bc shes not drinking anymore water than she usually would. oh well ill be taking her back at the end of th eweek if things dont pick up

Happy you got her in to see the doc and they aren't concerned. Whew! Hope the viral sores get better and she picks up the eating again. It's hard to watch your LO be under the weather {{{HUGS}}}
