I hear diaper on backwards WITH duct tape works well. Ask Michelle - her Jack used to really decorate with his poop!

Aaron did this once, at about the same age that Ruth is now. I think it was a fluke because I never taped him and it hasn't happened since. Luckily, it was not a poopie diaper.

I hope Ruth just got lucky with the tabs, and you don't have a little Poo-dini on your hands.

I thought I was one of the few using duct tape!

I&M were in the habit of taking off their diapers whenever they woke up in their cribs so we used duct tape at naptime and nighttime. That was after a couple of mornings of hearing our kids talking about being naked in their crib!

She's still young enough that onesies would probably help. Then she can't get to the diaper. This happened to us with Elizabeth, but not with Sarah (when she was 2 she started taking off her diaper and peeing on the floor - that's when we started potty training) and it hasn't happened with Ben.

Oh no, hopefully it is an isolated event and doesn't happen at home (not so funny as you said).
