Shocking counting calories!

LOL. I figured I would start my "new me" approach with the weight. So I found a pretty good free website for it, fit day dot com. You can track your calories, activity, weight loss etc. Until we get the Wii fit thing, I hear you can do that on there too. Anyway things like charts and graphs help me, it helps to see the little line going down on the chart when I lose a pound.
So the doc gave me meridia, its an rx weight loss pill. Didnt notice anything different yesterday, I ate one piece of pizza instead of 3 so maybe little things like that add up after a while. I just wanted help with a little jump start because I always feel hungry. And I have to go to the doc 1x a month for a weigh in so I thought being accountable will help.
So anyway, I am SHOCKED when I actually tally up all the calories I am eating! I know these things arent "exact" but its close and well, just wanted to share the site with you guys if you are interested in losing weight too. I thought I did "good" yesterday but I actually had, are you ready for this- 2,400 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had cereal and coffee and some cheese for breakfast today and it was over 500 calories! Shocking! LOL
So thus begins the journey. I am also going to commit to 15 minutes a day on the treadmill and work my way up. If you havent noticed this about me already, I tend to be gung ho for a few days and then give up. Here's to hoping I can carry through.
