16-24 oz per day. If she gets a lot of calcium in other places (cheese, yogurt), or if she's on the bigger side of the growth curve keep more toward 16 oz. If she doesn't get a lot of other dairy or is smaller, more toward 24.

I can't believe that Ruth is almost 1!!! We do about 8-16oz - Sara gets lots and lots of calcium from other whole milk products (cheese and yogurt etc) plus she is in the 75% for weight and height. We went cold turkey to the Milk but she didn't like it right away and I used some chocolate syrup to get her to start to drink it and then back it out a little at a time until she drank it straight. So hopefully Ruth will take right to it - don't worry at first if she doesn't drink "enough" she will work up to it - just be sure she gets enough fluids overall - like water etc. Good Luck and I can't wait to see party pics!
