Hey ladies, I just wanted to check in. I know it's been awhile but between ivillage loading so slow and my crazy boys, I just haven't had a lot of time! So things are good here. Declan was born on February 24th at 38 weeks via scheduled c/s. He was 5 lb 11 oz and 18 3/4 inches. I ended up on modified bed rest for 3 weeks before he was born for borderline high bp and low platelets. My c/s went fine, but 2 days later I developed a post op ileus. I had the same complication with Gavin. I got a picc line and ng tube and stayed in the hospital for 11 days. Declan is absolutely perfect and had no complications. He is 2 months old already and he's talking, cooing, and rolling from tummy to back. Breastfeeding has been a little bit of a challenge but we are finally on track now, only supplementing once a day, and sometimes not even that! Life has been a little chaotic with 2, especially running on very little sleep! Gavin LOVES Declan and is always in his face! At my pp check up the OB said due to my complications no more babies for me. It breaks my heart because I wanted 3. I'm not really worrying about it too much since I wouldnt do anything for another 2 or 3 years, but I'm definitely not getting rid of my baby stuff yet!

Thanks for checking in! What wonderful pictures of your boys =) Declan is beautiful. Can't believe he's already 2 months old...amazing how fast the time flies. Sorry for your c/s complications. How are you feeling now? Hopefully after some healing time the doctors give you the green light on #3. Happy breastfeeding is on track now, that first 30-60 days is rough for so many!

Keep in touch as you can =)
