So excited for you that you have a plan in action! Have you completely stopped BF yet? Does the BF affect your progesterone/estrogen levels?

July will be here before you know it!

BTW - where is everyone lately??? I miss all the chitter chatter:(

Thanks girls!!!

Taressa ~ KUP on your RE appointment. Maybe we'll be cycle buddies after all. I'm not going to cycle until June/July.

peanut4beans ~ I am still nursing 2x a day. A week ago I cut out the 3rd feeding. My plan is to cut one out the end of April and one out the end of May. If that works out I'll have a month without nursing before the FET. That's the grand plan anyway =) My RE said the nursing can effect estrogen levels...my lining was thick enough but she said my E2 levels were lower than she'd like to ideally see. My progesterone levels are also low but I don't think that's from nursing. I've always had low P4 and short luteal phases.

I don't know where everyone has been...I'm missing the chatter too. Figure we're all just busy with spring having sprung and all. How are you? What's new? I can't believe your LO is about to turn 6 months!!!

Caryn I was creeping on your blog and saw u got rid of the bottle you gave K at bedtime. Did u just take it away ? How did she sleep. We've been slowly weaning the milk Anna gets in nap time and bedtime bottles were down to 5 oz from 8.5. I aw thinking of just taking the bedtime bc she does t seem to care much only problem is she still refuses to take milk from a sippy she throws them in the trash when I give them to her. She does eat yogurt cottage cheese everyday just not sure if she "needs" the extra diary and calories. Glad weaning is going well it's so hard to give up that baby we worked so hard for to start the big girl part!

When we stopped the bedtime bottle she was confused but didn't throw a fit or anything. We changed our routine up and added more book reading and rocking so that she would still have that cuddle time. Our doc assured us that if she was eating normal food and drinking water/milk with dinner there wasn't any "need" for her to have milk at bedtime. She didn't start waking up or anything so the doc must have been right =)

Kylie won't drink milk from ANYTHING other than me and that has so far included my milk in a sippy =( Our ped said it's not a big concern if she's eating cheese, yogurt, and a varied diet. The only other thing she really wanted her to get was Vitamin D so we started giving her a gummy kids multi vitamin. We have tried to get her to drink milk but are failing miserably. We plan to talk to the ped at her 2 year appointment since I will be weaning completely then.

Weaning has been so emotional for me so far and I am really going to miss it. I think it's right for me though...I want to give my body 100% of it's energy to put toward our FET and hopefully carrying a new baby.

Good luck with your night time bottle weaning! KUP on how it goes.

Caryn, the weaning is definately an emotional trip:( We met with the RE yesterday and IF we decide to move forward, I have to stop BF. He said it takes 4-6 weeks for milk to dry up. So IF we decide to move forward, I would start weaning at 6 months and completely wean him in a month. I started giving him a bottle of breasmilk once a day, which he has no problem with. I will start mixing 1/2 breastmilk, 1/2 formula and hopefully switch over completely within a month. I do have a stash of frozen breastmilk but only 30 bags which in the scheme of things isn't much. He's a big boy and I know he'll do fine without my milk but it's that feeding intamacy which I would miss:(

If your E2 levels are low, can't they just up the estrogen a bit?? I forget, how many embies are you going to xfer??

Hi Chris, yea sounds crazy I know. we have 4 embies on ice. We both feel like we need to give them a chance. We have already been so blessed but I would love to add another miracle! I am not sure if I would do another freah cycle or not. right now I would say I dont think so...BUT I wont rule it out either. Ask me again in a couple of years (if my FET dose not work out)

Your 3 embies came form a good batch! I am sure your family will expand:) I could swear you said you wanted ti try again with your eggs.......did you change your mind or do I have this wrong?
