So, I'll start off. Kids are at VBS this week so I am trying to get as much cleaning done as I can without them home, "trying" is the operative word! Struggling a little with my GD. I started meds last week (glyburide) and it drops my sugar level way to low in the morning (in the 40's) so this morning I only took 1/2 a pill. Geez, I go from one extreme to the other (too high, now too low).

My next Dr. appt is July 6th, the day b/4 we head on vacation to FL. Yes, we are going to FL in July, call us crazy, I know. We plan on doing Universal and SeaWorld. Wish me luck waddling around - lol.

So, how are all the rest of you doing??

I love this idea!

DH and I just got back from vacation in San Diego. We had a blast and it was a really nice getaway before ET. Our ET was on Thursday and we transferred 2 beautiful embryos. Yesterday at 4dp6dt I got my BFP on an HPT! I look about 3 months pregnant instead of 3 weeks pregnant! DH and I are over the moon! My beta is on Saturday so I'm really curious to see what my level is.

DS (2) is enrolled in the summer program at preschool but they are out this week so I'm trying to find fun things to do, but it is soooooo hot outside and I am sooooo tired :smileyindifferent:

Lauren-congrats! Hope there is a nice strong beta to follow!

This ia a great idea! Well we have no solid summer plans. I feel like I am just trying to survive each day without puking too much LOL! Zofran has taken the edge off but I am still feeling like crap. We may be having a big cookout next weekend, it will depend on how I am feeling.

Lauren, CONGRATS on the BFP!!! Can't wait to hear your betas, I'm sure it will be a strong # since you got a +++ so early!

We just got back from the pool. I try to do a few activities every day, my kiddos just need to keep busy, Otherwise, they get bored and cranky;) (okay, they may take after their mom on that one - lol)

Havinfaith - glad the zofran is helping even if it is just a little. At least when you feel like crap, you know everything must be okay in there. It was a weired kind of reassurance for me, I guess. I also took the Zofran and it helped take the edge off, but I still gained weight because I tried to eat really small meals. We (or should i say DH) cooks out a lot in the summer! Food is always yummy and it not to much prep work involved.

Okay, now I'm hungry for a burger=)

I love love love Universal! Have a fantastic time :) We went to Orlando in Jan and I really wanted to go back and see the new Harry Potter area, but we stuck to Disney. Can't wait for next time :)

I am home for the summer before starting a new job, so I'm also trying to find things to do with the girls. Dd1 (4.5) is doing nature camp this week, then she's got 2 different VBS (2 diff churches) and a week of gymnastics. All are morning only. I'm going to have a neighbor as mother's helper for a few hours maybe 3 days a week, too, so that I can get some work done (I'm studying to become a lactation consultant). We're also hoping to go to the beach in July.

Spencer - I'm looking forward to the vaca, just not so much the heat! Camps are Great for the kids over the summer, especially when they are outdoors. All the fresh air and activity usually helps make them pretty tired by evening. My oldest daughter is a 'mothers helper' for our neighbor. She had twins last fall so is always looking for an extra pair of hands. Awesome news on becoming a lactation consultant. Would you work at a hospital or privately?

Jenndill - Chasing after a 3 year old is tiresome enough and when preggers, it must really wipe you out! You are almost at the 2nd trimester mark!!! Are you going to find out the gender?

Someday-Soon - Sorry to hear about your dog:( We just got our first pup last year and I know how attached the family becomes to them. How old is your dog? Enjoy the time with your in-laws and I am sure they will be in awe of how much your sweet little girl has grown!

AFM - This may be a litle TMI - but I'm throwing it out there for anyone who is willing to answer. We couldn't DTD until after 8 weeks(when they saw the heartbeat). Fast forward, now that I am 23 weeks, DH is 'afraid' something might happen if we do. I think it is because my stomach is 'bigger' and makes things a little more challenging - lol. AND, the fact that we have put so much time, effort, finances, into this LO that he wants to be extra careful. Does anyone else have this issue??

(laughing) Me and the DH DTD I think once or twice the whole pregnancy with DD! All for the same reasons your talking about! I wanted no part of it........I was too scared. By the time my belly got big I felt like an unsexy whale anyway:smileyvery-happy: This time around he has been bugging me about it, but with all the nausea who wants to do that?

somedaysoon- so sorry about your dog. It just stinks.

AFM- Had to go to babiesrs this morning. SIL is preggeres w/ twins and I wanted to be the 1st to get to her registry. Invites haven't even gone out yet but i know she registered a few days ago. It was a little bittersweet.
