I know...it seems like you should just be able to jump into a FET but there is some planning. Going in a couple months in advance is a good idea. Since I had fibroids in the past that were surgically removed I wanted to go in extra early and get my ute checked out so that if a surgery is needed (please say NO!) then we'd have time to do it and recover before a FET this summer.

Fun that so many of us will be on the FET train this summer!

I thought FET's didn't take as much Prep work but it seems like there definatley is some planning involved.

I still don't know if we are going to use our one remaining blast but I guess if I wanted to transfer at the end of the summer, I need to see the RE a couple months ahead of that. Does that sound about right??

Thanks girls! I'm so type A that all the monitoring has me giddy with excitement =) I'm eager to know how my nursing is effecting my E2 and lining since it can apparently make both a little sub-par. In a perfect world my levels will be fine and I can let Kylie self wean when she wants to. But maybe I need to actually lead the weaning if my results come back low.

At my clinic a medicated protocol includes BCPs for a month, then estrogen patches and oral progesterone through the follicular phase, an hCG trigger shot and PIO shots during the luteal phase. My goal is to do no meds in the follicular phase, maybe a trigger shot and progesterone suppositories through the luteal phase. I have kind of a short luteal phase so some support in that area is reasonable.

I'll keep you posted on Tuesday's tests. I get to see my ute again =) The ultrasounds are the closest thing to the little observatory window I'd like in my belly *LOL*

Caryn, glad your appt. went well. What is a natural FET compared to a regular FET?? I assume it is less intervention (monitoring, drugs, etc.) It sounds like you are well on your way with the plan, how exciting!

Keep us posted and wishing you all the BEST!

That's great! At Kylie's age I wouldn't think the nursing would be detrimental, but you know RE's and all those darn rules- glad this one is open to it. Best of luck with the monitoring.
