I know how you feel........

With having said that, I usually start around 7 months. I JUST set up the nursery this past Tuesday! Car seat will be installed probably this weekend. Picking up a few things here and there helps. I started buying diapers when I was 5 months along and now I am all stalked up.

I'm not sure there's any "right" time...we set up the crib (that a friend gave us) around 20 weeks. We had two showers in different towns, one at 28 weeks and the other at 32 weeks. What we didn't get at the showers we ordered the week after the last shower. We kind of set up the nursery as we were going along. It was fun to have it be a few hours here and there so it didn't feel overwhelming. Take pictures along the way, it's so fun to see it come along...maybe you could even post some *hint, hint* =)

Thanks girls.

Caryn, first I have to convert the room from my 12 year old's video game room! That will be the hardest part! :)

Ugh! That sounds like a LOT of clean up first. How does your 12 year old feel about this? Hopefully excited =)

My 12 year old is excited!! :) He is a great kid, very loving and supportive. He's anxious for a sibling, even if it's at the cost of giving up his game room! Really, when we built the house, the room was intended for a bedroom... but sat empty for so long, so we just eventually started using it for other stuff. We built the crib this weekend, so mainly we just need to move the entertainment center to the basement and the baby room will be in progress!
