Where are my girls?!?!

Hey there girls,

I know everyone is busy.  If you have a chance to post a short update on what's up with you I'd love to hear it =)  How are your little ones?  Plans for the 4th?

I'm on CD7 in my FET cycle.  Monitoring on CD1 cleared me and I'm on estrogen now.  Tomorrow I'll have b/w and u/s to check lining.  Tuesday we'll start u/s and b/w every other day until I'm ready to trigger.  Exciting that in July we have a 35% chance of being pregnant again.  K is fully weaned - two weeks ago tomorrow.  She is doing really well with it and has only asked a few times for milk.  No tears shed (by her at least)  though so that feels great.  We don't have any plans for the 4th, it stinks when it falls on a Wednesday - only 1 day off work.

Hope you're all doing great and summer is treating you well!

Caryn - hope you have a great vaca. Summer seems to be flying by.

Well, i ended up with a cancelled FET as well. Without the Lupron, I ovulated thru the del estrogen:smileysad:. Caryn, seems we have the opposite problem. Lupron will be added to next cycle which will probably in Sept as well. Started Provera last night so hopefully AF arrives sometime next week to shed this 12.8 lining.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

ARGH!!!! That really sucks. I'm so sorry you O'ed through the del estrogen =( Delays and missed opportunites are so though to take. We actually planned this vacay so I could focus on something else during this waiting time =)

Sounds like we'll be having our transfers on a very similar timeline. Apparently I did O this month, on Tuesday. My LP is typically 10-11 days long so I will start the BCPs when AF arrives. So we should be pretty darn close after you do the Provera.

Any fun plans to pass the time?

Where is everyone??

Caryn - just hanging at home with a few long weekend trips planned. DH is very busy at work and traveling more than usual. I'm anxious to get my new schedule but my nurse just came back from vaca today so I am not going to bother her today. Now tomorrow, that's another story-hee hee.

Hope everyone is well..

Not sure where everyone is...

A few long weekend trips sound great =) Is it hard when your DH travels for work? My DH only has 1 or 2 trips a year so it's not bad. And I use to travel for work about 4-5 times a year but since I was nursing my boss got afraid to ask about me traveling...he is apparently scared about talking nursing *LOL* It's ok with me though. Hope your new schedule is good!

Our trip this weekend was really fun, I posted photos on my blog, http://someday-soon13.blogspot.com/. She was so good and I think had a lot of fun. Now we are all a little tired but are back in the work/school routine.

Cheers,
Caryn

I'm still lurking now and then..  need time to go by faster..  u/s is in 2 weeks..    I turn 40 next week..  :-(   least i can say i was knocked up before 40.. LOL!!!      Have a float trip planned for Aug 17/18 so that should be a small fun get away.   I can't leave Jake for the weekend and Jake can't float so i won't be floating.   Jake and i will hang at the pool for the day.    I will miss floating.     Hubby starts back to school at the end of the summer which is  a bummer..  he is gone 1 to 2 night per week for school, .. seems like he is always gone.  Plus when he has school I have to take and  pick up Jake from  the babysitters which makes for a really long day.   both of my sitters live 20 minutes in the opposite direction from my house and my work..  so seems like all i do is drive.   Ok im babbling.

Chris ~

We're here to babble =)

Sorry you won't be able to go floating...but when Jake and your little girl are older it will be awesome to go all together =) The big 4-0, that rocks...they say 40 is the new 30 *LOL* My b-day is this month too, I'll be 37 so I'm close on your heels. Is your DH going to school or teaching school? Sorry the logistics of him being in school are lame...

Sarah - can't believe you don't have time to keep up.. i mean with a 6 yr old and 2 sets of twins you should have all the time in the world.  LOL!!   are you back to school?

Caryn - my hubby is going to school.   he is in an electrical apprentiship program.  He works as an electrician and has to do 5 years of school through the electrical union.  he is just starting year 4 in September so we still have 2 more years to go.  Its going to be rough with 2 kids and him being gone.   Plus he still thinks he needs guys night out every thursday.  I said that  might have to stop when Jacob came along but i have done fine without him but with 2 kids... guys night might have to be postphoned for a few years..LOL!!

Chris- not back to school yet, working on it, but like you said. I'm not busy or anything :smileywink:

Havinfaith- That just made me laugh so hard! My todds think the babies are funny and spend lots of time entertaining them, when they spit up they'll run over and wipe it off :smileyhappy:
I'm getting used to it here, can't say I love it, but could be worse. Life with 5 kids is crazy, but most of the time it's a good crazy.

Chris ~ It sounds like your DH is one busy guy with school/work. My DH got a PhD and I remember counting to days/months/years until he was done. Luckily it was before we had LOs. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right? The guys night out thing would be a point of contention with me too... especially if it was every week!

havinfaith ~ I kind of agree with your 2yo, babies are slobs *LOL* Our LO's are growing too fast, I so wish I could freeze time...more so during the "I love you mama" moments than the "no way mama" moments ;-)

Sarah ~ Happy life is crazy good for you and your brood these days =)

AFM (caryn) ~ Got my official FET protocol. Kind of funny - CD1 of the FET cycle falls on my birthday. It would be a great present for this to work the 1st time around! I find myself less patient with the process this time around. The BCPs are making me feel icky (sick to my stomach) so that isn't helping. It is clearing up my skin so that's a plus *LOL* Transfer is tentatively scheduled for 9/14!
