Hello!!
Just wanted to know if there are any moms who are my age and had this many c-sections! We lost a baby in 2010 at 14 weeks and now I am scared!!! So many dynamics at play and have a goofy obstetrician!!!!

Hope everyone who sees.this has a great day!!!

Welcome and congrats! Everyone here is 40 or over and most, if not all of us, have other children. I've had 3 losses..so I do understand your nervousness. My dd was a csection and this next will be another. I'm not worried about another csection..I'm worried how I'll manage 3 newborns! :). Jump on in, ask questions, share your journey. It's great to have another mum here :D

Thank you so much for the reply!! Its nice to know others are dealing with the same thing at 40! (not the losses though!) I was looking up the extra physical needs at 40 on the net like how much sleep and whatnot! I didnt find much but was lead here! :-)
This is so great!!

:-) :-) :-) Endless smiles and thanks!!

Negative people suck. There are a heap more success stories than women hear about and it's frustrating. We've had women of all ages have happy healthy pregnancies and some that have come back for a second time. We do have some that have struggled, some that have lost, but that happens at all ages. I'm waiting for one of our mums to hurry up and get preggers again. I have faith that shell be here soon :)

I am over 40 too, this is my third child and will be my third c-section. I laboured with my first and ended up with an emergency c-section, my second I had surgery to remove my gall bladder at 8 mos pregnant, my daughter went to term but I had to have a c-section because the gall bladder surgery was too close to the end of the pregnancy (I had a 12 inch incision to remove my gall bladder) and this is my third pregnancy and because of past instances, I am choosing to have a c-section. I am anxious but I trust my medical team but I am sure that I will be quite scared going in. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Sorry for the late welcome -- work is keeping me extremely busy these days!

Anyhoo, congrats! I'm 41, pregnant with #4 and due in August. I've not had to have a c-section yet (big birthin' hips), but they threatened me with it with William -- he had a HUGE noggin (still does, but then I think that's because he has a big brain, LOL!).

We've had two miscarriages, and some issues with Jake and this pregnancy, so this has been a bit nerve-wracking. I still don't feel in the clear even at almost 22w and 5 ultrasounds already, and probably won't until she's here. We just hang tough and do what we can do. It's so much out of our hands. I'm amazed that we bring any babies in the world considering just how much has to go perfectly.

Best of luck for the remaining weeks in your pregnancy!
