Just got back from a Disney cruise yesterday, thought I was seasick the past few days, never got my expected period that was supposed to happen while on the cruise.

Grats! That's wonderful news! Any prenatal should be fine. I use one a day women's prenatal. I didnt start taking them until we found out we were pregnant either. Regarding your blood lvls...hcg and progesterone, your regular ob should be able to check that now and then have you tested in a few days again to ensure it's doubling, that's just bloodwork at a local lab.

I never had a regular OB....went from RE to peri with both pregnancies. I see you are expecting triplets, congrats! Have you joined a multiples group. When I had my twins it was a lifesaver and have made many good friends through the group.

Thanks :) it was pretty shocking. We had sort of given up on having another. Im thinking thats when it happens for most women :) when we relax. Our ob gave me the lowest dose of clomid and just one 5 day cycle.... A couple of weeks later I knew we were preggo :). Just didn't know HOW preggo! ...unfortunately.. the one thing I haven't had is a multiple group.. I've really wanted a good multiple support group but can't find one. Our village multiple board is quiet right now. See if your GYN office can refer you to a good OB. You probably don't need a peri with this.

Congrats and welcome!

I agree, any prenatal will do. I'm not even taking a prenatal. Too much iron, so I just take a Flintstone's chewable. Easy since that's what the kids take, too. :) Only downside is it doens't have the DHA. I probably should find a good DHA but that iron just kills me.

Best of luck to you over the next 8 or so months!

I can't take the dha because it's the fish oils and ughhh..all I do is burp it up..hate it. At my recent apt the doc took me off the prenatals and now has me on a strong prescription iron and folic acid. I take colace twice a day and it's great..no constipation issues. Gotta love pregnancy chat :D. I take a prescrip heart burn med as well. If there's a chance you might be a csection you def want to make sure you're taking an iron.

Ah, I'm lucky to remember a multi-vite, nevermind anything else. I have benefiber, but alas, I don't use it.

But, I'm not at any higher risk than any other pregnancy for the c-section. I have big babies, but I also have nice hips and an accomodating birth canal, so, it's not a worry for me at this point. Plus, I've already discussed it with Zoë and she's coming a bit earlier than her EDD, so maybe she won't be quite as big as her sister and oldest brother. I don't want her as small as Jake, but somewhere in between, like maybe 8.8, would be perfect! :)

Lol, you're so funny.. Love that you and Zoe have this all worked out. I might need her to have a talk with this gang. Btw..did you ever see my private message to you? Wasn't sure it worked...was just me saying thanks. Now take your meds! :P

LOL -- everyone laughs when I say that I've decided she's coming early. But, I really believe you have to put your foot down with your children at an early age, and I don't think while they're gestating is too early. :) And, the odds are in our favor. Will was early on his own, and Jake was early by induction, but we were effaced and dilated even days before that, so I think he'd have come early, too. But then there's Libby who was 9 days late and STILL didn't want to come even after being induced. So, let's hope Zoë isn't going to emulate her big sister. I just want her in July. That'd only be 6 days early. No biggie. We can surely do that!

I think Zoë needs to tell your brood to stay put for as long as possible!

I did get your message, it was very nice, and I'm happy to be a part of this awesome board. :) I meant to reply and you know. It's like vites. I'm the worst!!

How are you feeling these days?

I had an emergency c-section for my first son, then another for the twins, so I think I will go right to the c-section again.
