Hi Kim and welcome back to IVillage. I'm the community leader of this board. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. This board is for pregnant over 40 women to share their journeys. Most, if not all women over 35, are considered High Risk. We do have many boards here that you might find fit your situation a little better. We have a TTC after a loss board or pregnant after a loss, which can help handle sensitive or emotional struggles. We have alot of support groups so please take a look around IVillage. I'm not sure this post is appropriate for this pregnancy board. I do wish you p&pts in whatever happens.

Very sorry for your losses, Kim.

I think right now the only thing you can do apart from praying is just wait. At 11dpo, it's still a bit early to test. Even a blood test could be iffy. Were I you, I'd either get a HPT and test in a week, minimum, (I believe I tested with #3 at 18dpo and got my BFP) or go see a doctor to get the blood test.

I wish you much luck and hope that everything turns out well for you.

Hi I'm Joanne also 43 and pregnant. I'm 7wks 3days. I have all of the same concerns as you do it's only natural. I haven't told very many people about the pregnancy yet as I'm waiting to get the 1st trimester over and done with. Congratulations on your new blessing!!!

Hi smiley :). Please put a new post up in the welcome section of this board so we can all say hello. The op is not pregnant and I'm not sure the post is appropriate here for our group. It might be removed. Grats on your wonderful news.. 43 is no reason to think doom and gloom! There are a lot of mums in their 40s having babies and we have a great supportive group here.
