How far along are you now? What's good and /or bad right now? How are you feeling? I'm 25, almost 26 weeks..I've been on bed rest since 22 weeks because of a shortening cervix..I'm feeling good..sorta..just dealing with the expanding belly, back aches, bh contractions, monitoring twice a day for contractions, headaches, heartburn, exhaustion...being kicked by whomever I'm laying on because I have to lay on my side...and missing out on day to day stuff with my family and my farm...I want to be outside! Other than that...I'm excited to make it past the first milestone of 24 weeks and looking to m next goal of 28 weeks...while staying home :). I need my cervix to cooporate!

Didn't you have an cervix check last week, Wendy? Been wondering how you've been doing on bedrest. I think you're a champ -- 4 weeks laying in bed cannot be very fun. iPad or not!

Doing well here. Last week was kind of scary with all those BH cx, but I tried hard to take it easy and stopped laying on my back. Got a body pillow, too. Hubby hates it, because it's huge and he wants to snuggle, so I'm not using it too much. He's threatened to stab it, LOL. Anyhoo, BH have slowed down, just a few a day, and I probably had them before but didn't notice since I am at my desk a lot. They don't seem to be as uncomfortable when I'm sitting up. Weird.

Jake and I put the crib up on Monday. It wasn't heavy as it was in pieces, and it wasn't too awful to assemble really. Looks good. Just need sheets and a bedskirt. And bedding. And the baby. LOL.

Have our anatomy ultrasound this morning, so looking forward to that. Jake is sick (high fever, sore throat), and has a ped visit just after, so Libby won't get to go into the US with me since I don't want Jake around the pregnant women at the doc office. So they'll wait in the Jeep until my appt is over. She's bummed about it, but it is what it is. I have the day off, so after we do the doc visits I think Libby and I will head to the mall to look at baby bedding. That may cheer her up. :)

Baby is moving a lot these days, and hubby can feel her. It's very cool. I had some grape soda the other night and she kicked me really hard for such a little thing and was crazy active for about 30 minutes -- was great! I don't know what it is, but I've been drinking more soda lately. Of course, I hardly ever drink it really, so anything is more for me. Not overboard or anything. Not more than 2 a week, and sometimes not that. But definitely more than my usual.

Nervous about my weight gain. I've grown a lot. I had a good two weeks here of just eating all of the food. at my 16w4d checkup I'd gained 7lbs total, but 5 of those were before my 11w appt (so weird since I was so ill that first trimester). So, we'll see how it goes.

Anyhoo. I'm feeling ok. Tired and heartburny and my hips are killing me, but nothing I cannot manage. Happy to have made it this far and happy that Zoë seems to be doing well in there. :)

Hope everyone else is faring well!
