2nd trimester here, 17w2d.

I'm still just exhausted. Still getting up too early. So funny you mention heartburn -- I started having it yesterday (not a dietary thing I don't think since I'm not eating anything out-of-the-ordinary). I had heartburn all through my pregnancy with Libby, too. An old wives tale is it means you're having a baby with a lot of hair, and that held true with Libby. She had longer than newborn hair, and thick, and all over the place. She was 3m old before I could get it to lay down. I've got some really hilarious pics of her. Of course, this early baby doesn't even have hair (at least not according to the little weekly development updates I get from various pregnancy sites), but whatever. :)

I'm having a new left hip/butt pain, but not sure if that's the pregnancy or the yard work on Sunday. I did have this very same pain right near this time with Jake and it didn't go away until childbirth. So, I'm hoping I just overdid it.

Cannot imagine how you must be feeling right now, Wendy. 3 babies, no wonder you're wiped out.

that's so funny you mention the hair in regards to the heartburn.

I'm in the first trimester (almost 9 weeks) and completely wiped out and nauseous all day.

You sound like you're doing a lot..especially all that volunteering! Try to take it easy. When do you plan on telling the boys? Unfortunately my exhaustion n nausea lasted the first trimester until like 14 16 weeks. Remember to take time for yourself during the day. Hugs

Thanks Wendy! I think we'll tell the boys next weekend (I'll be a little over 10 weeks). I'm planning on having the boys each open one present (diapers, a bottle, a pacifier, etc.) My youngest son will open his present last and it will be a shirt that says, "Big Brother (to be)" . I'll see how long it takes the boys to put it all together! I had planned on waiting until after 14 weeks to tell them, but I really need the oldest two to step up and help out more around the house. I just can't do it all right now! I'm excited to have our "revealing"!

Ten weeks and 5 days.... I think I was too hopeful with not having symptoms early on. I am nauseous all day long and was starting to throw up everyday until I got a prescription for diclectin from the doctor and that seems to be keeping it under control... though the feeling doesn't go away. Don't bring anything with garlic near me!!! I am incredibly tired too, we haven't told the children yet... going to wait until after the first ultrasound which is in about 10 days. I am hoping that the nausea will go away soon, though it didn't with my daughter. Hoping everyone else is doing well!
