I can't seem to catch my breath. I went to the ER Monday and I was getting 100% Oxygen. My heart and lungs were fine but it just seems like whenever I walk across the room I'm out of air. I did this earlier in pregnancy it went away almost immediatly this time it's staying around Any advice?

Katie: Like Laura said, Ive felt this too, if I ran up the stairs, stood up quickly, or if I was becoming dehydrated and didnt get enough food or water that day. It sounds like you are getting enough oxygen... Sorry that I dont know what to tell you! If it persists, dont feel bad about bothering your dr again.

Your heart and lungs have to work much harder during pg than at any other other time in your life. It's normal. I've been feeling the same way and I'm only 5 weeks. I also find that my heart pounds more...also normal. I mean if it gets to the point where it gets really bad, see your doctor again, but usually your body will adjust and it should get better....until you're in the 3rd trimester....then you have baby pushing on your lungs! ;)
