When I went to my first OB appt, I thought I was 7w5d but the Dr said I was measuring 7w4d so I was off by 1 day.

A few days isnt really a big deal. 1 day is great. U/S can be off by a few days. My baby girl been measuring 3-7 days ahead for the whole pregnancy and is doing great.. :)

Sounds like GREAT appointment to me :)

Due dates are figured on a standard 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14- then it takes anywhere from 7-12 days for a baby to implant. So if you don't have a textbook cycle and ovulate early or later, the dates will be off the predicted ones. Also if baby implanted early or later makes a difference-- all healthy variations :)

My doc said early u/s can easily be off by even up to 5 days... mine was. My first u/s I was like 7w2d and measured 6w5d. My last two I've measured exactly right on.

Glad everything looks good so far!!

As the ladies have said, measurements can vary. I also think there's a certain amount of human error involved in scans where you rely on exact measures but it could be off by a day or two based on who does it. My Baby C is a couple days behind but still within a normal range for where I'm at...basically "normal" varies. I know PAL brain doesn't help. ((hugs))

I totally agree with this - I am a late O'er, so I went to see my RE for my first u/s at what should have been 6 weeks, and then my RE reset my due date back several days, making me only 5w4d! So if you O later than a "typical" cycle, your u/s dates will be off. I don't think it's a big deal.
