What are the chances that I'm going to see a heartbeat? I've never had an appt. this early before so I'm a little nervous! TIA!

6w2d is sort of on the cusp. If you see one that's great, but if you don't it doesn't necessarily mean anything's wrong. It can be hard to get the right angle, etc. to get a clear view that early on. They should be able to see a sac, yolk sac and fetal pole though at that point.

Lots of people do see HB that early so I'll keep my finger's crossed that you're one of them!

We saw a hb at 6w1d, and I think that I am about 2 days behind their dating, because I o'd on CD16, and not CD14.

My RE said at my 6 wk appt that if we didn't see a hb then he would want to see us back in a week, he didn't sound worried and said that sometimes it takes longer to implant...keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I've seen my baby's HB at just over 6 weeks a few times, but like the other posters said, your dates could be off, and a myriad of other factors could make it so you don't see the HB that early. So, I wouldn't panic if you don't see one. I know how nerve wracking this all is though...believe me...I struggle everyday.

I can't wait to see your update!

Its a tough call. My Drs office doesnt have u come in until 7wks unless there is a problem, that was my RE.
Usually h/b shows up around 6d, sometimes earlier for some, but depending on when you implanted could be totally normal for it not to be there yet.

Good luck on seeing the heartbeat! I really hope that you see it, and that the time until your u/s flies by.
