I woke up in the middle of the night to this sharp stabbing pain on the right lower side of my stomach ( I guess around the area where my ovaries are).

Ouch... Yeah I'd want to switch back too. I guess my first thought is maybe it's a kidney stone. I get those really sharp pains on my right side too, but I've been previously diagnosed with kidney stones. If you still have it, and it seems to be traveling I think it's a real possibility. Or if you get any blood in your urine. Sorry, I know PAL brain and blood of ANY kind don't mix. There's usually not blood in mine. Or, if you see little granules in the toilet after you go. I usually can see mine.

Sorry I know its tough.
I know I have had several sharp pains down low during this pregnancy & everything is fine. Usually its realted to RLP when I move fast but sometimes Im just lying there.
How long did it last? You probably just moved in a weird way or too fast when sleeping.
After u/s the other day I coughed & I had a huge sharp pain around ovaries & I thought I tore something or ripped placenta off, etc...
Id be freaking if I didnt get u/s. In the beginning it was torture waiting months for one.

Dustie,
I'm so glad your Dr.'s office fit you in today & you were able to hear your LO. I'm also thrilled that your experience was better this time around. Before I got to your latest update, I was going to agree with Mindy about the possibility of RLP. I've had several instances of being woken up in the middle of the night with sharp pain in my right side. I don't think it's too early for you...it's not your first pregnancy. Things are going to spread out earlier this time around.

HUGS, not sure but I get paiNs all the time and the doc said it's RLP, hope that's what it is for you. I know how it is with crappy docs, maybe you should switch. HUGS

I think you need to look into switching doctors. You need someone who will cater to your "crazy brain" because at the very least, we need to feel comfortable at our appts.

As for the pain, I know you're not happy with them, but if it were me, I'd call just to make sure.

I'm so glad you got to go back in and see a new doc. And whoohoo for the hb! It's so important to have compassion from the dr and that first one clearly wasn't understanding of your situation. Can you arrange to see the second one from here on out? I love that you can go in weekly to hear the hb! I definitely felt growing pains early on but PAL brain doesn't help matters. I'm glad all is well and definitely take it as easy as you can.
