On friday I was diagnosed with a UTI and put on macrobid antibiotics, and then I woke up with a really bad sinus infection saturday morning.  I've been a mess and today I went to the doctor to see if anything can be done since I feel like i've been doing EVERYTHING I can to feel better.  They didnt want to put me on more antibiotics, which I agree with. The doctor was happy with me and said I'm doing everything right by not taking over the counter meds and trying all natural remedies. I'm just nervous about my weight and my blood pressure.  On friday I was weighed when I went for the UTI and then weighed again today and I lost 3 pounds over the weekend, which worries me.  I'm not one to lose weight quickly at all and I felt like I was gaining weight since I was starting to show but I realized i've lost about 8 pounds since my pregnancy started.  Also, my blood pressure was only 98/56, which is definately low, especially for me.  The doctor wasnt too concerned about it, but I feel like my health problems tend to get swept under the rug until they get bad because I always see different doctors when I go to urgent care.  I've also had to keep doing my nebulizer treatments because my asthma is so bad and the sinus infection is making me feel like I cant breathe.  Just with all the meds, being so sick and stressed, the low blood pressure, and the weight loss I'm getting worried about my little bean.

I wouldn't worry about the weight. During first trimester, i lost 13 pounds due to morning sickness. I had my baby on Sept 10th and I was still down one pound from my prepregnancy weight. My baby came early at 36w2d but he us perfect.
During pregnancy your bp is lower than normal.

Thanks everyone! I'm feeling better today, both emotionally and physically. Yesterday I was pretty emotional for me, which isn't uncommon- I've found myself crying during comedies alot lately lol.  I just get worried being sick because I have an awful immune system and I'm always getting sick and during my loss people kept saying "it's probably just because you were always sick- get healthy and try again". They made me feel guilty, like my health caused the loss. I know its not true, but with my hormones going nuts I over think things some times. Thank you guys for all your support.

I had a cold when I was pg with DS and it was possibly the worst cold i have ever had! You have increased mucous production during pg so that makes colds and sinus infections and that sort of thing a ton worse, only to be exacerbated by the fact you can't take any meds. I hope you feel better soon. Your little bean gets all your best bits so I'm sure it's completely oblivious to how ill you are!
