Anytime you feel your not getting treated the way should and need to be I say heck a change is needed. Especially with the history you have. You and your LO deserve better. I hope when you meet the other doc in the practice that he treats you much better.

OMG - I would be LIVID if they didn't check my bp at every single appt. Last week when I went in to have blood taken, I asked for a bp check and they are totally great with me. After pre-e, I'd demand my bp checked and if they didn't do it, I'd find a new doc. I've requested a urine test as well as bp at every appt and they said they sure will.

I don't think it's odd changing OB's at any week - after what I've been through, I would change at 32 weeks if I felt that I needed to.

It's worth it to at least call another doc and schedule a consult, just in case.

No, I think I'd be changing. Especially with your history of Pre E, you really need to have your bp monitored. Don't feel bad about changing docs. Not all docs make a good match, especially for a PAL. :)
