Yay Dustie. I am so happy for you as you know boys are such fun. Unless the placenta is perfectly centered over the cervix chances are it will move. I will pray that it does move. With Timmy it did not move till about 35 weeks he was born at 37 no problem at all. So glad to read that all is going well with your little man.

Congratulations, Dustie! I'm so glad you got to find out the gender, and that everything is looking good. There is still plenty of time for that placenta to move, and it most likely will do just that.

Yay for boys!

Congratulations on your baby boy!! :) And sending your placenta some "scootch over" vibes so that it just does that.

Yay Team Blue! How exciting! I hope your placenta moves soon so you won't have to spend even a nanosecond more thinking about it instead of picking out awesome boy names.

Thanks ladies! You all are the best! With this LO being a boy, it works out pretty good as we have kept all of the stuff from DS and they will be sharing a room! I know there is still time for the placenta to move, still worrys me a bit. Everything I have read on placenta previa leads me to believe ther is a good chance everything will be good by the time LO is due to arrive. The only thing that is odd to me is the doc asked if we were dtd and when we told him yes he said to enjoy it now because we won't be able to dtd for long??

Congrats on Team Blue! Yay! FWIW, I had a low-lying placenta in the beginning too, and they think I had all those bleeding issues for the first 15 weeks because of it, although they can't be 100% sure. But now, at 28 weeks, it is completely up and out of the way and all looks perfect. I hope that your placenta moves on up too as time progresses. I read that when you are diagnosed with a low placenta early on (before 15 weeks, I think) then odds are pretty good that it will be out of the way before delivery.
