Congratulations on the 2T Julia! I don't think you're nuts for ordering it, but I can surely relate to how it is making you nervous. If you got a gender neutral one you can still keep it if, God forbid, something terrible does happen. I ordered a bassinet before I lost my first one. It was gender neutral so we kept it anyway and used it when we had DD.

But it seems like everything is going very well this time. I think you'll be fine. :)

Congratulations on the 2nd Tri! That's so exciting! And yeah, still scary. I think you are perfectly normal for being worried but you are handling it well. You aren't letting it keep you from enjoying the shopping and preparing for LO. You are being positive in spite of the fear- Go You!

Oh, yeah. That's not bad. Most our stuff for our 1st was gender neutral, and some for our second. We're still using most of it. There's some pink in our house now that DD is older and playing with a lot more stuff. But we're about 50/50 now with boy and girl. (makes sense... duh) Even the bumbo we bought for DD is gender neutral. Staying positive is what will get you through the next few weeks until you feel a bit safer yet. Sorry, I hope I didn't sound bad. I didn't mean to, I was just relating because I've felt that way too. I'm still scared, especially now with my BP issues.

Congrats on your 2T milestone Julia!!!! So happy for you and sending lots of P&PT that things continue to go well for you during this pg.

I know what you mean about buying something and going what if I need to return it. I keep going back on forth on a doppler and that very thing comes into my mind - what if I order and when I go in Friday for my u/s there is nothing there??? So sad really that we have to think like that.

Hoping you have a great 2T and an even better 3T!!!!!

Congrats on the 2T! I still get occasional feelings of impending doom even in the 3T. This was the first pregnancy where I bought anything before mid-2T, and that was quite scary. I just kept imagining these 3 lonely cribs sitting in the garage and never being able to get use out of them. We, too, got such a good deal that we couldn't pass it up...and when buying 3 of something we just have to go for the deals. :-)

Congrats on the 2T Julia! I know exactly what you mean about being happy to be in the 2T, but still not feeling 100% comfortable. It's hard to think positive, but it sounds like you're doing a great job at it!
