I'm sorry you're still feeling so sick! I can definitely relate. As far as the weight thing try not to stress out to terribly much. I'm still hovering around 10lbs below my pre-pregnancy weight at almost 33wks. I remember having a complete melt down in the 2nd trimester because I was trying incredibly hard to gain some weight and it just wasn't happening and my doctor told me that the baby steals all the nutrients it needs and leaves me with the leftovers and that as long as I was eating/trying to eat I was doing everything I could do and the baby would be just fine. I guess all this to say just try to eat and not stress out to much about the scale cause you can drive yourself insane!

Weight gain (or lack thereof) was a major source of stress for me in the first couple of months...I tried all I could and was unsuccessful. It eventually kicked in. As Gina said, the baby will get what she/he needs and as long as she/he is growing and thriving then all is good. I hope you feel better soon!

I'm sorry you're still feeling icky. With all of my kids, I was still sick at 16 weeks....and stayed sick until at least 18-22 weeks. I hope it goes away for you soon though....it's miserable.

I'm so glad that your LO is so active though and growing appropriately. Don't worry too much about the weight gain. Your doctor is probably more concerned for you than the baby. I have a cousin who was DEATHLY ill with both her kids, for the WHOLE pg....couldn't even keep water down for a lot of her pg. She wound up with a portable IV. She was at her worst with her second child....but you know what? Her daughter was born super healthy..... and at 7 lbs 14 oz. So, try not to stress too
