It was just a routine check up, but I got to hear the babies h/b for the first time in 11 weeks! The baby has a heart rate of 144.

Glad everything checked out ok! Im sure it was a relief to finally hear theb abys hb again after so long without medical insurance coverage. Sorry the doc wasnt youre favorite, but hopefully you will love the others in the practice. I know what you mean though... I go to a midwife practice that has 6 different midwives, and some of them I just "click" better with than others. Still, you have to be open to the possibility that any one of them could deliver your baby....

Thanks guys! My SIL goes to the same practice and the Dr. that I saw is the same Dr. that delivered both her girls. She said that he doesn't have the best bed side manner, but he is an amazing surgeon. When she was in labor with her 2nd, they ended up having to have an emergency c-section because the cord was wrapped around the babies neck. So she was glad to have him present.
