So i saw my MFM doc today, told him about my incident yesterday and he thinks it is from the extreme heat, low BP and he said some ppl just adjust differently to changes in BP and circulation. He said if it happens again to call the on call doc. My BP was fine today. I'm pretty scared about my weight though. I will be 22 weeks tomorrow and I've gained 18 lbs. He said he is not worried cause I was small pre pregnancy, but I feel that's a lot at His point, what do you think, honestly? I also asked about my YI last week and that spot incident. He said totally normal, said theitching or the yeast can cause mild spotting. He reviewed my a/s results. Baby is measuring slightly ahead and based on that scan my EDD would move from 12/3 to 11/30. He said he's not gonna change it since due dates vary so much. He said my placenta is still low lying but not covering cervix as it was before so hopefully it keep moving away. I go for anothe r scan in 4 weeks so they can check ankles and face since it was hard to see at last scan. I also asked about weird aching feeling below my belly button, he said normal growing pains, any of you have this? Ok sorry for rambling and thanks for all the support.

Sounds like a productive appt. I get all kinds of aches in my tummy, growing pains too. I wouldn't be too worried about the weight gain, especially if you are normally pretty small.

Yay for a good appt! The aching sounds like growing pains or maybe BH doing their thing- Noting bad :)

With my first 2 babies I was small pre-pregnancy and even though I ate very well I gained 60+lbs with each of them- UGH! But the good news is it came off very quickly after. With my daughter I started a bit heavier and was so proud of myself for only gaining 30lbs-- and I have fought for a year to get it off but got preggo first lol. My point is eat smart but don't worry too much about the weight. Amount gained can be very random!! If you gain a lb a week until 40 weeks that's only 36 which is very reasonable :)

Jen, I wouldn't worry about your weight gain at all. There is so much variability with different women. Sometimes if you're small to begin with it seems that your body packs on extra pounds, maybe so you have more in reserve. I'm small (5'1" and 103 lbs) and with both of my successful pregnancies I gained 60 pounds by the end! So 18 pounds at 22 weeks seems perfectly reasonable to me.

At this point a discrepancy of 3 days is nothing, to change your due date at this point it would take a difference ot 2+ weeks. Actually, I would be happy that they kept the later date, as that means they won't be trying to convince you to be induced too early. It's very easy to misread u/s, and many women have been told that their baby is 9+ lb, only to be induced and give birth to a 6 lb baby who was not ready to be born.
