Baby on my cervix?

For the past few days I've been aware of my cervix's existence. I don't know how else to describe what I'm feeling down there. It's almost like Baby A is right there dancing on it. When she moves I get a sensation, not necessarily painful but sometimes like a prick or poking. I've never had any sensations on my cervix from an internal source so this is a bit weird and new for me. Has anyone else experienced this?

I go in for a cervix check on Thursday and meet with doc on Friday so it's on my question list, I'm just slightly freaking myself out here but trying to be practical. My last cervix check was great but there's always the worry of changes. I'm 22w4d today.

I get the same feeling sometimes. For me it's almost like I get shocked, that's always how I explain it to DH. I would ask if it's worrying you for sure!

Getting shocked is a great way to describe it!

I recall this with other pregnancies. Like a jabbing or pressure depending on what baby part is doing the offense. I can't imagine what it must be like with 3 babies up to trouble ;) Unless you start to have pain during it or something more constant I think it's okay to wait until your appointment but when in doubt give them a call :)

I guess with 3 you are going to feel all sorts of crazy stuff.

I have felt some strange cervix sensations as well. However, I am nearly 100% certain that my lil one is transverse, so I'm sure it's his hand or foot hitting or kicking my cervix. Thank goodness it's not constant!

Let us know what your doc says tomorrow! I hope your cervix is still holding strong!

Thanks for the responses, ladies! It's reassuring to know this appears to be normal. Baby A was head down at my appt 2 weeks ago so she may just be doing some acrobatics or headstands. When I see doc on Friday I'm definitely going to describe it as a shock and see what he says.

I feel some of that too and during my last scan, the tech said the baby was basically head down on my cervix. Hope all is well at your appt. Iguess it gets crowded in there and one of them want to be by the cervix?
