The more kids you have had the more frequent they are. I had a ton with my twins. Nothing painful. My doc put me on advil once a day just to be safe during the second trimester. If you have a bunch I would call the doc and ask to be tested for a UTI. That is a super common cause of irritable uterus.
I've had several with no symptoms other then little contractions.

Thanks everyone.

Well it seems like everything has happened earlier with this pregnancy.

I had BH b4 DD kicked me so I know they arent related thank goodness or I would have freaked more.

Glad to know you've also had localized pain after getting a kick. I didnt really have much yesterday & we'll see what today brings!

Im not feeling as sick this am of course in stead of saying yipppeeee! I am saying up oh what is wrong!

So sorry you're having them so early! I started having them with this pregnancy around 16.5 weeks and they're now a daily occurance. If you're really worried, I would say to get checked out by your OB just to make sure the cramping isn't related to the stomach kick you got. Good luck!

My BH started at17 weeks this time. I'm sure it's normal to get everything earlier with twins. I also wouldn't worry about getting kicked.

I started BH contrax really early this time- probably around week 14-15. I didn't have discernable BH with DD so they scared me. My doc says it's very common to have them earlier in subsequent pregnancies (esp. since you are having twins).

As for DD, mine inadvertantly kicks me in the tummy at times and I will have localized pain for a while. Remember, your body really cushions that baby deep inside so I would try not to worry too much.

Yah BH are that much more scary for us PALs than others but unless they are frequent or strong they are not a issue. Sorry about the Pain causing you fear too unless you have bleeding I doubt that it a problem either. I am kind of glad I am clueless as to where the placenta is this time as I am sure I would freak over each little pain in that area too.
