cant believe I made it!

Well yesterday was officially 13 wks by O, and tomorrow will be 13 wks based on LMP. I am so excited to be past the dreaded 1st tri! We had our 12 wk u/s on Monday, which incidentally was the same cd/dpo that I lost my last angel. That made my appt even more difficult. Well the tech started the u/s, she was clicking away on the keyboard, and dh was watching everything. After a minute or 2 I just about screamed "Do you see a heartbeat?" I was going nuts just laying there, not able to see anything. I know I startled dh when I asked, so it must have sounded loud and funny. Thankfully the tech let me listen myself for a minute to ease my mind. I didn't get to see anything while she was doing her thing, but dh said baby was moving around, and that he saw the little heartbeat. I was so glad he was there to see our little peanut, that I wasn't even jealous he got to see more than me. The tech said everything looked ok on her end, but stressed that she isn't there to make the analysis, that i'd have to wait for the bloodwork to get the results. I should know at my next appt which is this Friday. I'm a little nervous about the results, but slowly its sinking in that I will have my baby in August!

Yay for 2nd T. I am glad you U/S went well and hubby was there to watch everything.

I am also glad the techs with my current Dr let you see everything in real time. I have had those dreaded silent U/S before and even the ones that were losses in the past couple of years I was glad to know right aways with the tech compaired to previous Dr that tech told you nothing till the end and did not let you see.

Look at you with a pregnancy ticker! Yay for your little poppy seed!

By lmp due date is Aug 27. By dating it's Aug 23. Still waiting for an answer if I can try for a vbac though. If we go c section it'll be 2weeks earlier, and if I go vbac they'll induce one week earlier. One reason for not wanting a csection was a pre determined birth date, but seeing that they want to induce for a vbac makes me lean more towards repeat c section. I wanted to try a natural vbac and being induced just doesn't line up with that either, kwim? Oh well in the end as long as I get a baby I don't care!

I would opt for a csection too if they were going to induce a vbac. I am going to talk to the dr about a vbac too. We had a scheduled csection for DS2 so we could try a vbac for #3.

Congrats on the 2T! So glad everything is going well.

I had my 12 week u/s too on the same CD I lost Sam so I know how never wracking and bitter sweet that is.

So happy for you!
