Colds during pregnancy

I have a cold :( It started last week with a sore throat and now it has turned into a constant tickle in my throat making me feel like I always need to cough. Have any of you experienced colds during pregnancy? How long did they take for you to get over? Also, can coughing be bad for the baby? Everything I've read says no, but I still worry (of course). Any tips for getting over this cold would be much appreciated! I'm having a hard time sleeping because of the constant throat tickle.

ugh....I always get a cold when I am pregnant. Every single time!!! I always take Tylenol cold and sinus and moan in misery everyday until it is gone! lol I can't take sudafed because I'm allergic to it (lucky me!).

It normally takes me about a week to get over the cold. I hope yours is over soon!!

I haven't had a cold yet this pregnancy, but my OB said if I do get one, it is safe to take sudafed (regular) and robitussin for coughing.
