I had a few times where there was decreased movements for about a day or so. And as much as it freaked me out, I do remember this happening with all 3 of my kids. I hope he starts kicking away again soon!
This happened quite a bit with Laila.. Esp in the second Tri since baby prob movin around alot cause has alot of extra room.. Hope he moves around soon. Can always call ur OB to do a quick u/s to ease your mind
I remember this happening with my little guy & it scaring the be-jeezus out of me. Then,of course, I googled it & got the range of terrifying to totally normal. I'd agree with pp & get checked if you really feel like something is wrong.
Bentley does this too. I feel like he has days of high then crashes. It seems like for 3 days straight he doesn't STOP moving, then one day he'll hardly do anything even with sweets. I get a little anxious and grab the doppler too and he'll usually kick that then stop again. They're saying "leave me alone mom, I'm tired!" =) Oh but yesterday I did feel either head or butt! He poked it out 3 times in a row. Sooo sweet.
Personally my child never stops moving, but from what I've seen at 24 weeks its normal to have periods of sleepy behavior. If its been a few hours drink some juice and lay on your left side. If he still doesn't wake up, go in. Usually by the time women get there the baby wakes up, but its better then sitting there and worrying! (((hugs)))
