I had my 22-week appt on Monday. Everything was great! My bp was good at 116/80. The baby was moving all over while the doc was trying to find his hb, doc even commented that he was impressed by all of the movement of "this little one" he found the hb for a half a second and Jaxon moved then bopped at the wand :D it was funny and even the doc laughed. He finally settled down a bit and we got his hr at 152!

Doc said the swelling in my hands is still fine and he was pleased that I was the first woman in the past two weeks with no ankle swelling due to our excessive heat wave - go me!!! AND I lost a pound woot woot!!

He took some blood to run the tests the mfm recommended. He told me to keep taking the baby aspirin until 36 weeks. He said we will definitely plan to deliver by 36-37 weeks and we'll talk later about checking my cervix and baby's lungs when we get closer.

My next appt is in 2 weeks and he'll start the first of my biweekly growth scans - I'm getting so excited!!! I can't believe we're so far already - I mean we still have a LONG way to go, but wow...

So I see him Aug 10 for a 24 week checkup and a growth scan, then I'll see him again around the 22-23 for another growth scan, then I see the mfm on sept 5th to check on baby's heart and for another growth scan... I'm getting so excited - I feel like I shouldn't be, but I can't help it, I am totally excited!!!

Plus, I've been working quite a bit at the campground so while I've been checking in and reading, I haven't posted a lot and that is why. I have another 13 hour shift tomorrow as well as saturday, so I'll just be lurking when I'm able for the next few days.

I'm so glad things look good! Hopefully the new leg/feet swelling goes away when you can put your feet up! I know it's easier said than done when you have to work but try to relax as much as possible. Maybe they'll let you take more breaks :smileyhappy:!

Boo! Can you kick your feet up? I know the nature of your work might not let you, but hopefully it's just from the hear and will go down!
