I had my first appointment with the midwife today, and it was really fun to see what the differences are. There are no vaginal exams until much later in the pregnancy and the appointment was very chatty and fun. It lasted for two hours! I got a parking ticket! I really enjoyed the atmosphere, and I was given all of my CPM's stats about transfer and complications. She is very competent and friendly. I really feel comfortable with her.
