I barely felt anything until 19 weeks, and it was sporadic. I think at that stage it's pretty inconsistent, but the doppler does help, I used mine all the time around that time. I think later like 24 weeks you will feel it more frequently.

That happened to me, the movements were very sporadic until about 24 weeks this time - made me super nervous because Landon started moving around 16 weeks and never stopped.

Thank goodness for dopplers!!!

I'm 18 weeks and I have been feeling the baby for a couple of weeks but, your right, it is sporadic. I freaked out on friday b/c I hadn't felt him move all morning before our scheduled u/s. I was so scared we were going to go in there and find out something bad. Even during the ultrasound he was being pretty still. The only thing I remember seeing move on him was his mouth open and close. Then I go home and freak out some more b/c he still hasn't moved all day but come night he was full of action!! It freaks me out too!! Today he is pretty active!

From what I've read it is very sporadic at this point. I'll be 18w tomorrow and so far I *think* I have felt something only twice, at least a week from each other. Glad the doppler is reassuring.
