In addition to the very unglamorous symptoms I've been enjoying (nausea, bloody nose, yeast infection, gas, etc.) Today I get to add one to the mix for a little public embarrassment.

I was in line with

Yikes! That is very scary! I am glad you are OK and your DH caught you. I don't have that problem, but if I were you I would definitely keep some granola bars or something in your purse or car. I hope that you can get it under control so it doesn't recur!

Oh, Chouli, I'm so glad you didn't hit the floor! Don't be embarassed- I've done things that were a lot more embarassing than that in public :smileyvery-happy:!

I'm a fainter and also have low BP, even all thru pregnancy. It got really low, and when I had my epidural they said it could drop lower, which it did one time, but lots of fluids will help that. I was told to contract stomach and leg muscles when you feel faint and it will raise your BP. I also get that way if it has been more than three hrs since eating so I always have snacks in my purse. Put some packaged crackers or granola bars in your bag, it might help. I know it sucks, I hate fainting. Hope this helps a little.

There were like 30 people in the line. I joked much later that they all looked so bored and put out to be there that I just wanted to liven things up.
Thanks for stopping by to see me, and you will have to stick around here soon!

So glad your DH caught you! I would start keeping snacks with you. I got lectured for not eating enough so now I go by times instead of hunger. I'd let your doc know asap.

Oh Chouli - I'm sorry that happened, but glad DH is johnny on the spot and caught you! I found that I always made myself eat every two hours (granola bars, almonds, crackers) just to keep something in my stomach to my blood sugar kept even and even thought I wasn't hungry, I forced myself to have something. I am definitely the "snack" lady at work and always have something in my purse...

I just have to say, I'm just tickeled to death to see that you are already 15 w 4d! How has that much time passed? :)

I have decided that now that I'm in the 2ndT, and feeling better than I was before, I need to stop coddling myself as much. I used to eat what I wanted when I could, even if it was just bread. Now I am making conscious decisions about what I eat and (as much as I still loathe meat) I am forcing the protein. Peanut butter, yogurt - I had my first eggs last night in over 3 months and it was surprisingly not bad. I am also eating by the clock instead of by my stomach which is almost never hungry.

Thanks, Ann! I'm stil surprised to be here. I'm in that in-between phase where my 1stT symptoms are less, and I haven't felt the baby move yet, so somehow I feel "less pregnant" which makes me nervous. Going to see the midwife on Wednesday for a checkup.
