Does anyone else get freaked out by listeriosis? I feel like there is nothing I can safely eat! Does anyone know how common listeriosis is? Trying to ease my mind...

I've personally never heard of anyone gettin listeriosi, pregnant or otherwise but in Great Britain there were only 17 cases last year.
I was told it's a very very small chance. Of course though wherever there IS a chance I get freaked out. I don't feel like there's anything safe to eat either! Just make sure you wash your fruits and veggies really good. I was told I could eat Subway as long as it I get it toasted and they haven't had the meat sitting out all day. A nice cold turkey sandwich is on my list of foods I want after birth

I'm staying away from cold meats just to be safe and washing the heck out of fruit and veggies. And of course since I'm avoiding cold meat all I freakin want is a nice, cold ham sandwich!!!! lol Only 23 weeks till I can have one. :-)
