Names picked out!

We've agreed on names for both a boy or a girl and only 12 more days until we can start saying them instead of bean! haha :).  Ariya Lynn (said Ari-ah and the middle name is my mother in laws name) or Christopher  Eric (after my brother who passed away).    I'm a little upset that a few members in my family absolutely dont like the girl name that we picked but its the only name we both loved, and we love it so thats all that matters.  I'm so excited for the 29th, i cannot wait!

Way To Go!  We still haven't found a girl's name.  If this little one turns out to be a girl they may be a few days old before we decide.

yeah the girls name was the hardest.  We had the boys name picked pretty much since day one because its my brothers name so it means a lot to me, and my fiance agreed right away . I love girls names that end in -ana like ariana, adriana, etc. but none of them really excited my fiance and she will be OUR daughter (if bean is a she lol) so i wanted him to love the name too.   So finally we came up with Ariya... but im undecided if I want it to be spelt ariyah or ariya... I feel like people might say it wrong alot if i add the H... but it looks more "finished" with it...

I love your names.  I don't think the h at the end will effect the pronunciation so if you prefer it, I say go for it.  With so many parents looking for unusual names most people have just gotten in the habit of asking for the correct spelling and pronunciation.

I understand what you mean about it being a couple decision.  If I was making the decision on my own our DD would have a very different name and this little one would have a boy and girl name...though none of the ones on the short lists we currently have.
