I had my first appt with the new dr's office (since I moved last week) and it went well overall. It's a relatively small practice and they specialize in high risk pg (they're all perinatologists) so that makes me feel good about going there. I enjoyed the doc I met with, and he even "knows" one of the MFMs I previously was with in Hawaii! The appt was just a general check-up on me so I didn't get to see or hear the babies. The craziest part is he measured

I don't know much about the shots, but I've heard before that it keeps preterm labor from starting. I can't believe you're measuring 31 weeks! That's crazy!

Thanks Torie & Krystal!

I checked out the MoD website and it said that it generally doesn't help if you're carrying multiples...interesting. I'm definitely going to have a lot more questions for doc when I go in next week.

I have heard of it and of several ladies on it. My doc mentioned it to me but since I don't really have a history of ptl nor do I have any huge risk of it like you do with 3 babies in there, I am not doing it.

I would think that your new doc will continue with the shots if you are already getting them, it's not an uncommon thing, so it's not like you'll have to convince them that you need it, KWIM.
