I also have group b strep. Woah, they gave you vancomycin for that?! That's hardcore stuff.

Yes, Chouli . . . penicillen is normally given, but since I have a pen. allergy, and my strain of group b strep was resistent to two of penicillen's cousin drugs, I had to go the vanco route.

I say that everyday Julia (about single parents). Cord is/was very helpful, but it's still overwhelming at times. Especially when everyone is sleep deprived in the newborn stages. Can't wait to read the rest of your story. Hope everything's going well with sweet baby Billy. :-)
