Ok, let's see if I can type this out before he's ready to eat again... sorry it's so long!

We had the amnio to check lung maturity on 11.1.11 and planned to induce the same day, but Jaxon didn't want us to choose his birthday, his lungs weren't ready and we rescheduled for a week later. I had mild contractions that never really went away from that day.

We went in at 7:30am on 11.8.11 to be induced. My dr was not scheduled to be at the hospital that day, but he popped in and out specially for me :) love that doc! So he checked me, I was soft and fingertip dilated, and he started the first pill on my cervix at 8:00am. I continued to have the same mild contractions I had been having. 4 hours later, at noon, same thing, soft and fingertip dilated, he inserted the second dose. I continued to have those same contractions, but they finally started becoming regular and a bit stronger. Obviously not strong enough because 4 hours later, at 4pm, I was still only soft but was "maybe a 1" for dilation, he inserted another dose and formulated a plan for the rest of the evening... he'd check me again at 8, if there was no progression, he'd do the balloon thing, if there was enough progression, he'd go ahead and start the pitocin in the IV to get things moving. Around 6 I got to use the tub to ease the pain from the contractions - that was amazing! I used it until it shut off :) Well that dose did it's job and started things moving. By 8pm, when he came back, I was at a 4 and contracting regularly, no need for another dose, and no need for pitocin - my body was now doing it on its own. He explained that he would have broken my water at 4 but the baby's head was not engaged so he could not do that because it could cause cord relapse, and said he'd be back later to check on me. Over the next hour, the contractions became really bad (but weren't showing on the dang montior which ticked me off, but the nurse said go by what you feel, not what you see) I was having the labor pains mainly in my back, which hurt like a b, so she dediced to start my IV so I could get some IV pain relief. The contractions continued to strenghten and become much closer and I got to that point where you just close your eyes for the remainder of it all, I told dh and the nurse that it was time to tell our "waiting family" that I requested no visitors until it was done. So dh went to inform family that if they wanted to say bye they could and the nurse went to get the "no visitors" sign... leaving me in the room by myself... alone... by myself... alone... no one else there... within seconds after they left, I felt a little bubbly trickle and though for a second "is that my water" then GUSH my water broke and gushed and gushed and gushed. I reached for the call light and it wasn't there, so I reached for the other side and it wasn't there either, I started freaking out because with Landon, once my water broke, it was like BAM 10cm, push, push, baby. So I did what any logical mommy to be would do, I started yelling, at the top of my lungs "HEY, CAN ANYONE HEAR ME... HELLO.... I NEED HELP... I CAN'T REACH MY F'ING BUTTON... ANYONE... I'M ALONE.... HEY... HEEEYYYYYYYYY.... CAN ANYONE HEAR ME.... HELLO...." and a nurse (not my nurse) opens my door and slowly walks in and asks if I need something, I say yes, my water just broke and I can't reach my call light, about that time, dh comes back and my nurse is behind him, apparently he heard me yelling too and was coming back and saw my nurse and grabbed her too.

At this time, my contractions are nearly unbearable, in my back, in the front, and less than a minute apart, and I can't move without causing another one.
