21 week u/s update- good news and bad news

I had my 21 week scan yesterday with the Maternal Fetal Medical team at a specialized hospital for women several hours away from our house.

Triona Congrats on your healthy LO and great U/S. I have no experance with the notching but looked it up and it seem usually fixes itself. I will pray that is the case for you too. I will keep you and your LO in my prayers all the same. KUP

Glad you were able to see your little princess again and that everything looked good with her.
I have no clue about notching, Ive never heard of it. Did they say anything about potential bedrest to help?

Apparently bed rest wouldn't make too much of a difference at this point, but I will re-ask the question at my 24 week mfm appointment.
I have no idea about the notching, I'm sorry.

So glad to hear the Dr lowered the chances of DS. As for the notching, I also had it at my 18 week U/S. Like you, I was already taking baby asprin (and lovenox) so there really wasn't anything more for me to do. Of course, I stressed myself out about it and read everything online - big mistake. 6 weeks later at my 24 week U/S it was gone. My SIL also had it early on in her pg and it resolved itself as well. Hope you get the same good news at your 24 week appt :)
