terrified. so terrified in fact that while pregnant with Landon, we only dtd ONE time.. half way through at 20 weeks. I am just paranoid. I told dh sorry about his luck, but we will do the same thing this pregnancy, one time at 20 weeks. Poor guy...

I can understand where's you're coming from - being PAL makes us question the safety of all sorts of normal everyday activities.

We didn't DTD this pregnancy until I was 12 weeks. Even since then, it's much less than normal for us. We DTD the day before my m/c and I will never convince my DH that it didn't cause it. Now at over 33 weeks, I don't feel like DTD at all anyway!!!

I'm sorry you girls are experiencing it too :( but I'm kinda glad that its not just me too! During my other pregnancies I never gave it a second thought, we did it whenever we/I felt like it.

Once I know everything is progressing normally maybe I'll feel a little better about dtd, but until then, DH is just going to have to suck it up, lol!

Amy, if all else fails - tell him he should be happy, Paul isn't getting any at all, not until 20 weeks, and then, only once until the end!

Yes, we won't have sex until the 2nd tri or until I stop spotting. :( It's not fun, but I just can't mentally.

I had a low lying placenta and my sweet Antonia Banderas look alike Ukranian doctor picked up a pencil and tried to show my husband and I which direction to point the man part during sex so as not to disturb anything. He has a very thick accent and is a bit hard to understand. It took us both a minute to realize the sheer horror of what he was doing. :) SO embarassing!
Anyway, suffice it to say he scared the bejeezers out of us and so 20 weeks later we are still steering clear despite the fact that the placneta previa resolved itself 15 weeks ago!

I totally understand the fear. Anything in that area especially something that can cause spotting is nerve racking. I've had a few spotting issues so my doctor said no dtd till after the baby is born.
