Change in movement...

...is really making me quite nervous.

Since Friday, his movement has changed and really just believe it is that he flipped, but I think PAL is also playing games on me!

I used to feel his kicks at the top and to the left side, but now they are down low and very infrequent.

I remember on Thursday night having a movement that took my breath away, so that had to be him going from head down to head up position. But shouldn't I still be feeling more than just cervical kicks from time to time! They just seem so muffled to me and I do have an anterior placenta! Maybe he's also facing inward too. Ugh, I can't tell.

My next appointment isn't until Thursday, but I think if this continues thru tomorrow morning then I'm going to call the clinic and see if they'll do an NST just to give me peace of mind! They are supposed to start in a week anyway, so hopefully they'll just agree to start them now.

I did call the clinic on my way home Friday to review what I needed to do and so it seems there is enough movement to not warrant going in just yet, but it just seems so odd to me.

What do you ladies think?

I had a similar experience around 31 weeks and it was due to the baby turning and facing my back (posterior placenta).

I agree with pp - it's probably just a change in position and nothing to worry about, but it's always better to go in for nothing than sit at home and worry.

Thanks ladies! Your right, it's better to go in for nothing and will likely just do so tomorrow!

After I wrote this, I started to feel him again and all over, but in the middle. I rarely feel him there and mostly on the sides and top. So feeling a little more confident.

What really drives me crazy is I'll feel all this movement and will go to put my hands on my belly and nothing...WTH is that? Then I start to second guess whether I'm feeling anything...aaaahhh.
Just got one though that made me jump, so we'll see what tonight/tomorrow brings!

Hopefully this is just nothing, but him finding a nice comfy spot or as DH says, it's probably pretty boring in there!

Hi Jenn,

Now that it has been a few more days, I hope that you are feeling the little one move and that you are not worried. Keep us posted on how you are doing and how your appointment goes.

Hugs!
